HNB Assurance won the “Excellence in Training” Award at the 4th Asia’s Best Employer Brand Awards held in Singapore recently. HNBA is one of the best employer brands in the country that has demonstrated that its HR practices match the best global standards with a fully aligned business strategy.
HNB Assurance is the only insurance company to have a partnership with Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) to conduct programs for sales and marketing staff of the company. The company has its own academy “General and Life Insurance Academy” that conducts insurance related courses and programs for the employees. The company declared the year 2012 as the year of “Learning and Development” showing the commitment it has for people development and many T&D initiatives were carried out in line with the theme.

This award was granted through intense analysis conducted by the awarding institute on HNBA, considering the overall HR functions in the spheres such as Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Talent Management and Capability Development, etc.
