HNB Assurance PLC (HNBA) and its fully owned subsidiary HNB General Insurance Limited (HNBGI) celebrated the exceptional performances of Branch Managers and the key members of the Retail Banking Management Team of the Hatton National Bank PLC (HNB) recently, at Grandeeza, Negombo. The grandeur night was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Jonathan Alles, Managing Director/CEO of HNB, Guest of Honor, Mrs. Rose Cooray, Chairperson of HNBA and HNBGI, Mr. Prasantha Fernando, Chief Executive Officer of HNBA and HNBGI, and other members representing the top management of HNB, HNBA and HNBGI. Hatton National Bank PLC (HNB) and its fully owned subsidiary HNB Assurance PLC (HNBA), announced the launch of ‘Lease Protector’, an exclusive new insurance cover where HNBA will settle any outstanding lease payments of the lessee to the bank, in the unfortunate event of their demise or total disability.  The cover will extend up-to a value of Rs 10 million and will include liability for customers up-to the age of 70. Both HNB and HNBA have also structured the ‘Loan Protector’ cover to be as simple and easy to access as possible with minimal documentation.
